We extend a warm welcome to all sailors, irrespective of the type of craft you sail, be it a windsurfer, kitesurfer, cruiser, mono-hull, or multi-hull. Our club offers a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, fostering a strong sense of community and camaraderie amongst our members.
Youth Sailing
At Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club, we believe in nurturing the next generation of sailors. Our thriving Youth Sailing programme caters for our younger members, providing them with the opportunity to learn, grow, and excel in the sport they love. We are dedicated to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for our young sailors, imparting in them a deep appreciation for the sport and the skills necessary to succeed both on and off the water.
18 - 25 Group
Recognising the unique needs of our more adventurous students, we have recently established a new 18-25 group. This group offers a dynamic and engaging platform for young adults to connect, socialise, and sail with others in their age bracket.
Club Facilities and Services
Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club offers an array of facilities and services designed to enhance your sailing experience. Our two storey clubhouse boasts a spacious bar, a professionally catered galley, and changing rooms with hot showers. Additionally, we have ample parking, two launching sites, and two dinghy parks for outboard/tender storage.
Our club hosts a variety of events throughout the year, from racing to social gatherings. Our racing calendar includes a range of races, such as the Wednesday Evening Spring Series, the Early Trophy Race, the Easter Sunday Race, and the New Years Day Race, amongst others. We also host a number of championships, including the Squib Eastern Championships, the RS200 EaSEA Championships, and the Firefly Nationals.
In addition to our racing calendar, we offer a variety of training courses, from sailing courses to powerboat courses. We are also proud to offer club dinghy hire, sailing in company and dinghy cruises, and a development pathway for youth sailing.
At Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club, we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable sailing experience for all our members. We have a comprehensive weather damage reporting system and a dedicated training centre to support the continued growth and development of our members.
