Making an Appointment
To make an appointment, you can book online, by telephone or in person. We encourage you to make only one appointment for each member of the family who needs to be seen to ensure that our appointment system runs smoothly. We try our best to keep to time, but please be patient if someone before you takes longer than planned. Appointments are normally ten-minute slots, and if you have more than one problem to discuss, you may be asked to book another appointment.
Urgent Appointments
If you have an urgent medical issue, we prioritise these appointments to ensure that you receive the medical care you need as soon as possible. If you need to cancel an appointment, please let us know in advance so that we can offer the slot to another patient.
Choosing Your Doctor
At Burley Park Medical Centre, we allow patients to choose whichever doctor they wish to attend in the practice. However, this may not always be possible, and we appreciate your understanding.
Cancellations
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know in advance so that we can offer the slot to another patient. If you arrive more than five minutes late for your appointment, you may be asked to rebook.
Online Services
Our online services are quick, easy and secure, allowing you to connect to your GP services from the comfort of your home. With our NHS App, you can book, check or cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions, see parts of your health record, and see communications between your GP surgery and other services.
Accessibility
At Burley Park Medical Centre, we are committed to providing accessible healthcare services. Our practice is wheelchair accessible, and we offer Practice365, a healthcare platform that enables patients to manage their health online.
