As a multi-award-winning studio, we offer a traditional teaching method, complemented by an expert team of world-class teachers who deliver the full apparatus Pilates experience.

Our founder, Michelle, has been honoured with a well-deserved finalist nomination for Business Woman of the Year at the SME Business Awards. Our Approach to Pilates

At The Pilates Pod, we believe that Pilates, whether mat or apparatus-based, shares a common goal: strength, stability, flexibility, control, and eventually stamina. Our approach is rooted in the system of exercises designed by Joseph Pilates, incorporating the mat, Reformer, and a wide range of studio apparatus such as the Wunda chair, High chair, Cadillac, Spine Corrector, and many more.

Pilates is a holistic technique that caters to individuals at any stage of life. It offers preventative exercise to maintain physical health and wellbeing, reducing the risk of injury and pain. Simultaneously, Pilates serves as a potent post-injury recovery tool, recommended by medical practitioners for those recovering from pain, injury, and dysfunction. Through Pilates, we aim to provide your body with the support, strength, flexibility, and mobility it needs.

Getting Started with Us

We offer two introductory options for those interested in starting Pilates with us. Both options provide a comprehensive introduction to the basics of Pilates, on the mat and using our Classical apparatus with spring resistance for tone, strength, and support. These are ideal for beginners, those new to Classical Pilates studios, and those returning to Pilates after a break.

1. Combo Introductory Bundle: This option combines one-on-one sessions with group classes for a well-rounded Pilates experience.

2. Group Introductory Bundle: This choice consists of group classes, offering a sociable and supportive environment for learning Pilates.
