Welcome to Saffron Walden Nursery School, a not for profit nursery where developing the children's love of the world around them is at the centre of all we do. We have a strong focus on outdoor play and learning, and our large garden is the perfect place for children to explore, flourish and make a mess! This helps develop a disposition for the outdoors, for physical activity and for care of the environment. Our nursery is designed to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment that fosters a love of learning, and our dedicated team of staff are committed to providing high-quality care and education to all our children.
Our Services
At Saffron Walden Nursery School, we offer a range of services to support the development and growth of your child. Our nursery is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, term time only, and we have three spacious rooms designed to benefit the development of the children using them. Each room is equipped with age-appropriate resources and materials to encourage learning and exploration.
Our outdoor play area is a key part of our nursery, and we believe that children learn and develop best when they are given the freedom to explore and discover the world around them. Our garden is a secure and stimulating environment that provides endless opportunities for outdoor play and learning, and our staff are always on hand to support and facilitate this.
