Nurturing. Educational. Creative.

At Long Crendon Pre-School & Out of School Club, we are proud to be a non-profit making community charity run by the Parents' Committee. Established in 1968, we are a testament to the families that use our services. Our mission is to provide a stimulating, active, and responsive atmosphere, full of excitement and challenge for children from 2-11 years old.

Our Ethos

We believe that children learn best through play. By play, we mean their self-generated, self-directed activity. This may involve huge physical or intellectual struggle and long periods of concentration, but it is still play if engaged in spontaneously from choice. It is the adult's job to facilitate, encourage, support, and guide this play.
