Believe, Achieve, Succeed

At Rowley Lane, we believe that every child has the potential to achieve their full potential. Our school motto, "Believe Achieve Succeed", reflects our commitment to nurturing self-belief, celebrating achievement, and empowering our pupils to succeed in all aspects of life.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a learning environment that is conducive to learning, where every child feels valued, respected, and supported. We strive to provide a broad and balanced curriculum that is engaging, challenging, and relevant to the needs of our pupils.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. We offer a range of subjects, including English, maths, science, and humanities, as well as a variety of extracurricular activities, such as music, art, and physical education.

Our Facilities

Our school building has undergone significant refurbishments in recent years, and we are proud to offer a range of modern facilities that support our teaching and learning. These include computer suites, a library, a large hall, a modular hall, two small group teaching rooms, a garden room, and a nurture room.

Our Outdoor Space

We have a beautiful outdoor space that provides numerous opportunities for physical activity, recreation, and exploration. Our facilities include a purpose-built play area for nursery children, a large play area for children in full-time school, and a bouldering wall and full-sized floodlit multi-purpose all-weather court.

Extended Hours Childcare

We offer extended hours childcare provision, known as REACH (Really Exciting And Creative Hangout), which provides childcare before and after school for children from Year 2 upwards and during school holidays for all children of school age.

Parent Engagement

We place great emphasis on parent engagement and encourage parents to participate in school life. We offer various opportunities for parents to get involved, including meetings, events, and volunteering in the classroom.

SEN Support

We are committed to supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and work closely with families to ensure that every child receives the best possible support.

Key Information

Our school has around 460 children on roll, ranging from nursery to Year 6. Class sizes are limited to 30 in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, with an average of 12-15 students in each class. We have a dedicated team of teachers and teaching assistants who work together to provide high-quality teaching and learning.

Community Links

We have strong links with the local community and work closely with local nurseries, pre-schools, and primary schools. We also have partnerships with RISE Community Hub and Local Childcare.

Get Involved

We encourage parents to get involved in school life through volunteering, attending parents' evenings, and participating in events. We also offer various fundraising opportunities to support the school and its pupils.
