Amy MacGregor Personal Training is a business driven by my passion for health, fitness, and nutrition. With a Sports Science degree and a Diploma in Human Nutrition, I bring a scientific approach to help my clients achieve their goals safely and effectively. I focus on consistency in regular training and eating a balanced diet, while ensuring that training is fun and varied. I have been in the industry for almost 15 years, and I am committed to providing bespoke programmes to leave my clients feeling focused and energised.

Personal Training

My personal training sessions are result-based, using the latest training strategies. I provide comprehensive knowledge and up-to-date information, and I expect my clients to bring their "A game". Group sessions are also available for those who want to train with others who share similar goals and want to train in a fun, motivational, and social environment.

Bootcamps

Bootcamps are available for groups of up to 6. My camps are all-day camps and are based around getting fit and eating right. A healthy lunch is always included along with nutrition talks and, of course, gym/fitness workouts! These bootcamps are a great way to share the pain and motivate each other to reach their goals.

Nutrition

Nutrition is a very grey area for many, and it is the point at which all our hard work in training is undone if we get it wrong. I help my clients get back to the basics of what constitutes a healthy balanced diet and what is required during specific training. I devise a meal plan to suit each client's body type and lifestyle, ensuring that they have delicious fresh new recipes and snack ideas.

I have worked with various schools and sports clubs across Scotland to help athletes gain a better understanding of how to fuel to maximise performance/recovery. Proper nutrition is essential for young athletes, and I am committed to helping them stay fit and healthy.
