We offer a range of rooms to suit your needs, from our Trafalgar Room Double Bed with Garden View to our Balcony Suite with a large private lounge and balcony. All of our rooms are equipped with modern amenities and feature unique character and charm.
In addition to our rooms, we also offer gift vouchers for those looking to treat someone special. We have a range of policies in place to ensure that all of our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including a check-in time of 3PM-9PM, a midday check-in for an additional fee, and a check-out time of 10:30AM. We have a strict no-smoking policy, and we do not allow children, stag or hen parties.
Our Dining Room
If you're looking for a private dining experience, our Dining Room is available for hire for between 10-25 guests for all occasions. With its beautiful Georgian character and charm, our Dining Room is the perfect venue for honeymoons, anniversaries, birthdays, and other special occasions.
Our Building
Our hotel is located in a Grade II listed building that dates back to the 1790s. Situated in the Royal Terrace overlooking the seafront, our building is bursting with history and character. As the only surviving Georgian Terrace in the town, our building has a rich history that dates back to 1803 when Princess Caroline, wife of the Prince Regent, stayed at the hotel, leading to the terrace being renamed the "Royal Terrace".

Located right next to Southend's famous seafront, our hotel is just a few minutes' walk away from local cafes, restaurants, shops, and nightclubs, as well as the pier and the seafront. Our location makes us the perfect venue for honeymoons, romantic getaways, or simply a relaxing break by the sea.

Booking discounts are available for Monday to Thursday stays, so be sure to book your room today. Please note that there is no on-site parking, but pay and display is available outside of the hotel. We welcome guests over the age of 25 years old, and we have a strict no-pet policy.
