Welcome to Lilies Cottage, a charming 19th-century holiday cottage located in the beautiful coastal town of Lymington, situated on the southern edge of the New Forest. Our cottage has been providing a cosy and memorable stay for our guests since 2014. We take pride in offering a home away from home that still retains much of its original charm and character, while providing modern facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Our cottage is located in a quiet position, just a 15-minute walk from the High Street of Lymington. The cottage is separate from the main house, offering guests privacy during their stay. We offer secure off-road parking on the gravel driveway at the end of the gardens, with room for two cars or a car and trailer.

A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere await you at Lilies Cottage. Whilst the owners also live on site, Lilies Cottage has its own parking and beautiful gardens, ensuring guests have the utmost privacy during their stay.

Accommodation

Our cottage can accommodate up to four people, making it an ideal getaway for families or small groups. We have one double bedroom with room for a travel cot and a second bedroom with two single beds. Our spacious bathroom has a bath with an electronic/electric shower above it. The bathroom is directly accessible from both bedrooms.

Our large L-shaped lounge and dining area opens out onto a small secluded patio, leading to a larger patio that overlooks Lilies fishpond with a fountain and waterfall. Our fully fitted modern kitchen has everything you'll need for your stay. We have recently re-furbished the cottage, ensuring it maintains its original charm and character, whilst providing all the modern conveniences.

Facilities

Our facilities include free Wi-Fi, a log burning stove, two patio areas, and a secure off-road parking area. We also offer a BBQ and a secure summerhouse, ideal for storing your bikes and buggies. We offer Freeview TV & Radio and a DVD player. Our kitchen has an under-counter fridge with a 3-star freezer, a microwave, and an electric cooker. We also provide a dishwasher, washing machine, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

We welcome children and offer a high chair and travel cot at no extra cost. The cottage is not pet-friendly, and smoking is not allowed inside the cottage.

Prices

Please contact us for our prices for 2024. We require a 40% deposit to reserve dates, and the balance is due six weeks prior to the start of your booking. Our prices include electricity, heating and hot water, Freeview TV & Radio and Wi-Fi, linen, bath towels, hand towels, and tea towels. We also provide a welcome pack, including tea, coffee, drinking chocolate, biscuits, fresh milk, fuel for the stove & BBQ.

Lymington

Lymington is a charming coastal town that offers an excellent selection of independent shops, public houses, and restaurants. The town has a large Saturday market selling a variety of goods, from food and clothes to bric-a-brac and much more. The Old Town Quay offers an excellent spot to watch the fishermen and sailing boats or to fish for crabs. Walking a little further, you can arrive at the outdoor, Roman sea-water swimming baths.

Lymington is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty and attractions. To the south, you have the Isle of Wight, and to the north, you have the ancient woodlands and heathlands of the New Forest. There are plenty of attractions nearby, including Beaulieu (House, Garden and National Motor Museum), Bucklers Hard (18th-century shipbuilding village and Maritime Museum) and Hurst Castle.
