The Cake Box, located in the charming village of Hampton, is more than just a sugarcraft shop and school. Our knowledgeable team, led by qualified teacher Joanna, is always ready to advise and help you build your confidence and extend your range of skills and techniques.
Our Services
At The Cake Box, we pride ourselves on stocking a range of quality items that we personally use and recommend. We also offer original items that have been specially designed or produced in response to requests from our customers. Our stock is selective rather than extensive, but if you would like us to stock or order something specific for you, please ask.
Joanna and our team offer regular classes and free demonstrations where you can learn how to use the tools and equipment we supply. We aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you can achieve success and enjoy the process of learning new skills and techniques.
In addition to our classes and demonstrations, we also offer home parties, home workshops, and off-site demonstrations for children and families. These events are a great way to learn, have fun, and create lasting memories with your loved ones.
The Tea Corner
During our workshops, classes, and free sugarcraft demonstrations, we offer freshly baked cakes and biscuits, our own blend of tea, and a selection of soft drinks. These treats are served on vintage china and are the perfect way to relax and enjoy your time at The Cake Box.
Gift Vouchers and Present Ideas
If you have a loved one who is baking mad, we can help you find the perfect present for them. We offer gift vouchers that can be used to purchase any item in our shop, and we also have a range of pre-selected gift options such as the "perfectly smooth icing kit" or the "clever cupcake kit".
Edible Ink Printing
At The Cake Box, we now offer ready-made or made-to-order text cake toppers, like those on the right. Age toppers are available from 2.50 and Happy Birthday toppers from 4.00. We also offer a range of sugar decorations that can be customised with edible ink printing.
The Cake Box @Home
The Cake Box @Home offers a range of items for sale, including tins, tools, and stand hire. Our stock includes a good range of cake boards, cake boxes, cupcake boxes, sugarpaste colours, petal pastes, and sugarcraft tools.
