Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of physical dysfunction. Our osteopaths specialise in Cranial Osteopathy, a refined and subtle type of osteopathic treatment that encourages the release of tensions throughout the body. Cranial Osteopathy can be effective in treating a wide range of conditions, including headaches, sinusitis, digestive problems, low back and neck pain, and more.
Chiropody / Podiatry
Our chiropodist has a special interest in biomechanical evaluation of the lower limb. He can prescribe exercises, strapping, and insoles to correct or accommodate lower limb dysfunction. Our chiropodist is State Registered, the only qualification applicable for employment in the National Health Service.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a system of medicine that has been practiced in China for thousands of years. Our Acupuncture Practitioner assesses the condition by taking a thorough case history, feeling the pulse, examining the tongue, and any other necessary physical examination. The treatment is directed towards restoring the flow of Qi. Typically, the acupuncture treatment comprises primarily of insertion of very fine needles in acupuncture points. Acupuncture is now practised throughout the world to provide a safe and effective form of treatment for a variety of conditions, including pain, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and more.
Counselling
Life can present us with challenges, often in the form of problems or crises. We can experience these as painful and confusing thoughts and feelings. Our counsellors provide a safe and confidential space to explore our anxieties and feelings, gaining a greater understanding and making changes to deal with them.
