Dorset Mental Health Forum is a values-based charity that promotes wellbeing and recovery in Dorset through lived experience expertise. We aim to increase understanding of mental health, wellbeing, and recovery by utilising our collective lived experience expertise to influence and shape local services. We work alongside others to create space for individuals, organisations, and communities to identify and build on their strengths and resources to bring about lasting change. Our services include recovery education, crisis support, employment, social connection, and advocacy, among others. We believe that everyone has a story to tell and a voice to be heard.
The staff are knowledgeable about mental health and offer useful services.
