Valued Lives is a charitable organisation that provides mental health support services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We have been launched almost 4 years ago to offer crisis cafes and Safe and Supported Return Home Scheme services across the county, supporting more than 7,000 people and their families, on behalf of the NHS. Our services aim to provide a range of wellbeing-focused workshops, therapeutic activities, self-care sessions, and events that promote overall wellbeing and early intervention. We offer a network of people with a key goal in sight - improving their overall wellbeing! Our crisis service is broken down into 3 stages: stage 1, 1-1 support from a wellbeing worker; stage 2, peer support within a group environment; and stage 3, an optional peer mentor programme.
Valued Lives has a small number of positive reviews praising their supportive and caring staff.
The majority of reviews express significant discontent with the service, citing poor treatment of clients, lack of training among staff, and poor handling of client needs.
