At Oldfield Park Pre-School, we pride ourselves on providing a purposeful and caring learning environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging for children and families from all backgrounds. Our mission is to provide a warm, welcoming, and engaging space where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Our History

Oldfield Park Pre-School has a rich history of over 35 years of providing quality early childhood education and care to children aged 2-5 years old. We have evolved over the years, adapting to changes in Early Years education and funding, while remaining committed to our core values of providing a nurturing environment that supports the individual needs and interests of each child.

Our Staff

Our team of experienced and qualified staff members are dedicated to providing high-quality education and care to our children. They are passionate about child development and committed to creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of each child. Our staff team is supported by a committee of volunteers who help govern the pre-school and ensure that we remain true to our mission and values.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to support the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our children. Our daily routine is designed to promote independence, creativity, and critical thinking, with activities such as cooking, painting, and singing. We also offer outdoor activities, such as walks in the local area and short bus trips to explore the community.

Funding and Fees

We offer flexible sessions to accommodate the diverse needs of our families. Our fees are competitive, and we offer a 30-hour funded place for eligible children. We also offer additional hours for 3 and 4-year-olds and 2-year-olds, which can be funded through the government's 30-hour funded childcare initiative.

Parent Information

As a parent, you play a vital role in your child's early childhood education and development. We encourage you to get involved in our pre-school community by participating in events, attending parent-teacher meetings, and expressing your thoughts and concerns. We believe that open communication is essential in building a strong and supportive partnership between parents and pre-school.

Our Facilities

Our pre-school is located in the Oldfield Park Infant School, providing a unique opportunity for children to transition seamlessly into primary education. Our facilities include designated play areas, outdoor spaces, and a calming atmosphere designed to promote relaxation and reflection.

Our Vision

At Oldfield Park Pre-School, we envision a future where every child has the opportunity to flourish, grow, and develop into a confident, curious, and creative individual. We believe that every child deserves a high-quality early childhood education that fosters a lifelong love of learning, builds resilience, and prepares them for the challenges of the 21st century.
