Peter Pan Pre-school is a not-for-profit charity that has been providing high-quality childcare and education for over 40 years. We are a registered charity with a strong commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in the local community.

Meet the Team

Our team of experienced and qualified professionals are dedicated to providing the highest level of care and education for our children. Our staff are passionate about their work and are committed to creating a stimulating and engaging environment for all children. We have a high staff-to-child ratio, which ensures that each child receives the individual attention and care they need. Our staff hold Level 3 Early Years qualifications and include one qualified teacher who leads our Letters and Sounds program.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to support children's learning and development. Our activities are carefully planned to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development, and we have a focus on providing a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities to ensure that children learn in a fun and engaging way. We also have a Forest School program, which provides children with the opportunity to explore and learn in the natural environment.

Partnership with Parents

We believe that a strong partnership with parents is essential in supporting children's learning and development. We keep parents informed about their child's progress through regular updates and progress reports. We also encourage parents to become involved in Pre-school life through volunteering and participating in social events.

Special Educational Needs

We recognize that each child is unique and may have specific needs. We have a Special Educational Needs Coordinator who works closely with parents and our staff to provide individualized support and adapted activities to meet the needs of children with special educational needs.

The Early Years Foundation Stage

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which provides a structure for planning and evaluating our activities and progress. Our EYFS framework is designed to ensure that children's learning and development are supported and that our activities are both challenging and enjoyable.

Peter Pan Committee

Our committee is made up of volunteer parents who are elected to manage the Pre-school. We are a registered charity and rely on the support of our parents and the local community to continue providing our services.
