Food and Service
Some reviewers had a great experience at Glebe Farm Tearooms, praising the good food, generous portions, and friendly staff. Mary Emery, Giselle Lowe, Mel Thompson, Claire Tabram, and Queue Pea all gave the tearooms 5-star ratings, with Mary commenting that the food was good and worth the trip there. Giselle said the food was brilliant and the staff lovely. Mel mentioned that the milkshake was gorgeous and the food arrived fairly quickly. Claire described the full English breakfast as very tasty and well presented. Queue Pea enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast and appreciated the vegan choices.
Attitude and Customer Service
On the other hand, some reviewers had a poor experience with the customer service. Anne Moses expressed disappointment with the gift voucher service, feeling overcharged on postage and receiving an attitude. She said the young woman she spoke to would have preferred not to take the call and did not apologize for the delay. Elizabeth Parkinson mentioned that the service on her recent visits had been poor, with the room being freezing and no heating on at all.
Website and Shop
Some reviewers found the website misleading, as there was no mention of antiques or sheds being sold on site. Debbie De Prisco mentioned that there wasn't a farm shop, which was unexpected. However, she did appreciate the opportunity to buy lovely cakes to take away and visit the on-site antique shop.
