At Duxford Preschool, we pride ourselves on being a vibrant and welcoming local preschool that provides a nurturing environment for children aged 2 and a quarter to 5 years old. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality early years care and education, our staff are dedicated to giving each child the best possible start in life.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support the development of young children. Our purpose-built building, situated within the grounds of Duxford Community Primary School, provides a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play. Our experienced and qualified staff work closely with children to identify their individual needs and interests, and tailor our activities and learning opportunities to meet their unique requirements.
Early Years Foundation Stage
Our curriculum is based on the Revised Early Years Foundation Stage, which focuses on the characteristics of effective learning and the unique child. Our experienced staff use their knowledge of the EYFS to monitor and evaluate the progress of each child, ensuring that they make good progress in their learning and development, and are kept healthy and safe.
Learning Through Play
At Duxford Preschool, we believe that children learn best through play. Our indoor and outdoor play areas provide endless opportunities for children to explore, discover, communicate, and be active and creative. Our staff plan activities and learning opportunities that are tailored to the interests and needs of each child, and provide guidance and support as needed.

We are proud to have been awarded an 'Outstanding' grading by Ofsted, reflecting our hard work, dedication, and commitment to providing an exceptional experience for our children and families.
