At Bar Hill Pre-School, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and grow. Our experienced and dedicated team is committed to delivering high-quality care and education to children from 2 to 5 years old. Our preschool is located at the Village Hall Centre, offering a bright and airy room with a fully secure and enclosed garden. We believe in creating a homely atmosphere where children feel welcome and comfortable, allowing them to explore, learn, and develop at their own pace.
Services Offered
We provide various services to cater to the needs of our young students. Our Key Person and Buddy system enables our Early Years team to understand and cater to the individual needs of each child. Our curriculum focuses on the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a child-centered approach that emphasizes learning through play. Our experienced team fosters a love for learning, encouraging children to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
We also provide nutritious meals and snacks, promoting social interaction and healthy eating habits. Our snack and lunchtimes are designed to encourage conversation and social skills, allowing children to share their thoughts and experiences. Our online learning journal system keeps parents informed about their child's progress and educational journey.
Curriculum and Funding
We follow the 'development matters' curriculum from September 2021, which focuses on child-centered learning. We also offer 15-30 hours of free childcare for eligible children aged 3-4 years old. For children aged 2, the Two-year-old scheme is available, subject to eligibility. We encourage families to explore government-approved funding and financial support through the government website.
