Our Services
Phoenix Childcare offers a comprehensive range of services to cater to the diverse needs of children and their families. These services include:
1. Early Years Education: We provide challenging activities led by qualified and skilled staff, following the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) guidelines. Our curriculum encourages children to be creative, using arts, crafts, and imaginative play. We also organise trips and visits to various locations, such as zoos, airports, and parks, promoting a love for exploration and the outdoors.
2. Transportation: We offer a school run service for 5-12 year olds, using our minibuses to transport children safely to and from school for breakfast and after-school clubs.
3. Funding Opportunities: We are proud to offer funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds through the government's Early Years entitlement, providing 15 or 30 hours a week, 38 weeks per year.
Meet the Team
Our dedicated and experienced team at Phoenix Childcare is led by Mary Browne, our Owner/Manager, who holds a Foundation Degree in Early Years, NVQ Level 3; PlayWork Level 3; Speech and Language; Makaton Training; Thrive Overview training; Safer Recruitment; PREVENT awareness; Fire Safety; Safeguarding Level 3 - Qualified Trainer; D1, D2 Assessing; Food Hygiene Level 2; First Aid; Basic Mountain Leadership - Board Level 1; Basic Expedition Training; and Online Safety certifications.
Carlene Birch, our Deputy Manager, is currently working towards her Level 4 Early Years qualification, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
Opening Hours and Fees
We are open Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 6 pm, and offer flexible session plans to accommodate the varying needs of families. Our fees are competitive, and we accept various forms of payment.
