At Roberttown Lane Pre-School, we are a committee-led, charity-run pre-school that provides a nurturing environment for children from 2 years to school age. Our experienced and qualified staff are dedicated to helping your child develop and learn through play, giving them the opportunity to access a wide range of age and ability-appropriate experiences.
Our Vision and Philosophy
Our vision is to nurture the children in our care to enable them to fulfil their potential. We believe in providing a caring, friendly environment that is safe and stimulating, where children can develop as individuals. We strive to build positive relationships with parents and carers, actively encouraging parental involvement, regardless of race, culture, religion, or means. Our philosophy of learning through play gives every child the opportunity to access a wide range of experiences, supported by adults and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support the development and growth of your child. Our pre-school is open Monday to Friday, with flexible session times to suit your needs. We provide funded places for qualifying 2-year-olds and 30 hours of free care for working parents. We also offer additional sessions, including breakfast and lunch clubs, as well as a fun hour from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Our fees are competitive, and we offer payment options to suit your needs, including childcare vouchers. We also have a limited number of free funded 2-year-old places available, so please enquire for more information.
Our Staff
Our staff are highly experienced and qualified, with a deep understanding of child development and learning. Our team is led by Janet Bolt, who has worked at the pre-school since 1998, and includes Wendy Owen, who has been with us since 2002, and Angela Kuszyk, who joined us in 2008. Our staff are all qualified, with diplomas in Preschool Practice, Leadership and Management, and First Aid. We are committed to ongoing training and professional development to ensure we provide the best possible care for your child.
