First Tee Fitness is a private training facility that is dedicated to serving both professional and amateur athletes, as well as fitness enthusiasts of all levels. Based in Scotland, we offer a range of services including personal training, strength and conditioning, group fitness, and massage. Our mission is to make training specific to each individual by assessing their current state of trainability and developing the most effective training plan to meet their needs. We believe that our knowledge and experience can help anyone, from the professional athlete to the fitness beginner, meet their goals.

Our Services

At First Tee Fitness, we understand that sport can be incredibly demanding on the body. For example, swinging a golf club places forces over 8 times bodyweight on the lower back. Playing and practicing your sport will result in many repetitive efforts, constantly wearing the same tissue and joints, and creating the potential for overuse injuries. That's why we offer a variety of training opportunities to support your fitness goals and protect your body.

Our training services include:

  • Personal training sessions provide the optimal opportunity for you to work 1-1 or in small groups with one of our expert trainers. We will design a program specific to your needs, abilities, and goals.
  • Group fitness classes offer a fun and challenging way to improve your fitness in a supportive and motivating environment. Our classes include strength and conditioning, circuit training, and mobility and flexibility.
  • Massage can help protect the body by relieving tension and reducing fatigue from sport, training, and life. The manipulation of soft tissues using specific techniques can be beneficial to treat injury, reduce pain, and improve performance.
  • Sports massage treatments can help prevent injuries, reduce soreness and fatigue, and improve performance. Our therapists use a variety of techniques to address specific areas of the body, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.

Our team of trainers and therapists at First Tee Fitness are dedicated to helping you reach your full potential.

  • Kenny McKenzie, Director, has worked within the golf industry for over 16 years while specialising in golf fitness and performance for over 14 years. He has worked with European Tour Players and amateurs alike, providing Strength and Conditioning support to optimise performance and prevent injuries.
  • Jordan Black, Director, works with athletes of all ages and ability levels to provide training and recovery programs for them to compete most effectively. Additionally, he provides those looking to make a change of lifestyle or body shape with the expert guidance they need to reach their goals.
