Transforming Spaces, Building Relationships
Horsted Keynes Preschool is a welcoming and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, explore, and develop. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and high-quality Preschool in the heart of our community, offering affordable and flexible childcare for children aged between 2 to 5 years old. Our opening hours are from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays (afternoon session for Rising 5s), and Thursdays, and from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Our aim is to provide a fun and stimulating environment where children can grow into 'happy healthy children', and where each child's individuality is respected and valued. At Horsted Keynes Preschool, we recognise that young children thrive in an environment which is supportive, caring, and empowering. We understand that young children learn primarily through play and real-life experiences, and so we plan around the children's existing interests and abilities. This ensures that children are motivated and interested in learning.
We provide a rich and varied learning environment, carefully planned to empower children to seek meaning, find solutions, and use creative thinking processes. Our experienced Early Years Practitioners facilitate learning with sensitive questioning, practical support, and plenty of praise and encouragement. We strive to build each child's self-confidence and self-esteem, laying the foundations for a successful and positive disposition to learning.
