Our Story

Our story began in 2009, when our founder, Joanne Wilkinson, experienced emotional challenges in adulthood and decided to seek guidance from a highly skilled therapist. The transformation was life-changing, and Joanne was inspired to create a platform that could offer the same level of support to others. Since then, we've been committed to bringing you the best mental health support we possibly can. We've partnered with world leaders in mental health, created clinically certified content, and developed interactive tools and techniques, all designed to help you take care of your mental health.

Reviews
Negative: Ineffective and gimmicky, lacks direct access to professional help, creates toxic positivity around mental health.

Title: Ineffective and Gimmicky Mental Health App

The app is a disappointment as it lacks the functionality to book a video call with a clinician directly. The user, William George, rates the app with 1 star and criticizes its approach to mental health.

Design and Functionality

The app seems to be a lot of work to use, especially for those who struggle with expressing themselves and their feelings. It does not offer a direct way to seek professional help, which is essential for effective mental health support.

Negative Impact

The app may create a toxic positivity around mental health, making it seem like the app alone can solve the user's problems. This could lead to a false sense of security and may deter users from seeking actual professional help.

Lack of Professional Support

The app should have the option to directly book a video call with a professional clinician. Without this feature, the app fails to provide meaningful support to users dealing with mental health issues.
