Our History
When Chris and Kirsty Barker set up Ashlea Veterinary Centre in 1994, they were taking a major decision at a difficult time - both had left their jobs and Kirsty was eight months pregnant! Chris and Kirsty quickly established themselves in the community, moving to our purpose-built facility on Port Road Business Park in 1998. We have been delivering compassionate care and a top quality service ever since.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive list of services to support the health of your family pet, including separate kennelling for dogs, cats, and other small furries, and a range of in-house diagnostic equipment. We also have free car parking available for our clients outside the practice. Our caring team of vets and qualified veterinary nurses have a range of interests and experience. We've been fostering long-standing relationships with our patients and clients for many years through dedication, conscientiousness, compassion, and teamwork.
