Swanton Abbott Pre-school

Welcome to Swanton Abbott Pre-School, a registered charity and committee-run pre-school located in the picturesque village of Swanton Abbott. Our purpose-built setting is situated on a hill surrounded by beautiful countryside, providing a warm and friendly environment for children from 2 years to school age.

Our Setting

Our small team of dedicated staff, all holding a level 3 qualification, work together to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children. We are proud to be a Hygge accredited setting, embracing the Danish approach to living well, focusing on being in the moment and embracing feelings of warmth, simplicity, and togetherness.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to support the development of our children. Our spacious, enclosed, and partially covered outdoor area is used daily by the children and is home to our lovable bunnies, Oscar, Rufus, and Winston. We also have access to the Primary School Forest area on a weekly basis, providing our children with the opportunity to explore and learn from the natural environment.

Our daily routine includes daily yoga and mindfulness sessions, as well as focused activities based around the children's interests. We believe in learning through play, and our experienced staff are dedicated to providing a safe and engaging environment for our children to grow and thrive.

Our Fees

Our fees are payable at 5.00 per hour and are billed on a termly basis, broken down into the following sessions: 09.00 - 12.00, 09.00 - 13.00, and 09.00 - 15.00. We also offer funding options for children from the age of 3, eligible for government funding.
