Our Services

We offer a range of services to support the learning and development of our pupils, including:

• Therapy Dogs: We have a team of trained therapy dogs that visit our school regularly to support the emotional wellbeing of our pupils. Our therapy dogs provide a calming presence, helping to reduce anxiety and promote a positive learning environment.
• Fundraising: We have an active fundraising committee that organizes a range of events and activities throughout the year to raise funds for the school. Our fundraising efforts support a wide variety of initiatives, including new equipment and resources, as well as trips and events for our pupils.
• OPAL Learning: We are proud to be part of the OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) project, which promotes the importance of outdoor play and exploration for children's development. Our school has a dedicated outdoor learning area, where pupils can engage in hands-on activities and explore the natural world around them.
• Learning Curriculum: Our curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including art, computing, design technology, English, geography, history, mathematics, learning outside the classroom, modern foreign languages, music, physical education, PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic education), religious education, and science. We believe that a broad and balanced curriculum is essential for developing well-rounded and confident learners.
• Year Groups: We have classes for pupils from Reception through to Year 6, ensuring a seamless transition from early years education to Key Stage 2. We also have a dedicated nursery for our youngest learners.
• Assessment: We use a variety of assessment methods to monitor pupil progress and inform our teaching. We believe that regular assessment is essential for identifying areas of strength and weakness and adapting our teaching accordingly.
