Isleham Preschool is a registered charity, committed to providing quality care and play-based learning activities for preschool children in the local community. We are conveniently located in Isleham, Cambridgeshire, within the grounds of Isleham Primary School. Our spacious, purpose-built premises offer a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

Our experienced and dedicated team of early years practitioners deliver a broad-based approach to help children reach their full potential. We pride ourselves on our open environment, which features a diverse range of resources and activities that reflect today's world. We believe that children learn best through play, and our curriculum is designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and independence.

Our team members are all first aid trained and have relevant qualifications to best enhance your child's experience. We are proud of our low staff turnover, which enables us to build strong relationships with children and families.

Opening Times

Isleham Preschool operates during term time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. We offer a variety of session times to suit the needs of our families.

• Morning session without lunch (3.5 hours)
• Morning sessions with lunch (4 hours)
• Afternoon session with lunch (3.5 hours)
• Afternoon session without lunch (3 hours)
• Full day sessions with lunch (7 hours)

Please note that fees are charged by the session regardless of arrival or pick up times. Late payment fees apply for overdue invoices.

Fees and Funding

Our fees are competitive and reflect the high-quality care and education we provide. We offer Early Years Funding for eligible children, which is deducted from your total hours before invoicing.

• Hourly rate: 5.50
• Morning session without lunch (3.5 hours) = 19.25
• Morning sessions with lunch (4 hours) = 22
• Afternoon session with lunch (3.5 hours) = 19.25
• Afternoon session without lunch (3 hours) = 16.50
• Full day sessions with lunch (7 hours) = 38.50

Safeguarding

At Isleham Preschool, we take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously. All staff are trained to recognise signs of child abuse and are committed to responding promptly and appropriately to all incidents or concerns of abuse. We work closely with statutory agencies and follow the procedures set out in our child protection policy.
