This is achieved by combining the best facilities with highly skilled and experienced caring staff in a unique and luxurious nursing home.

Our Story

Our story began in 1976 when Gillian Lee first started to look after her Grandmother, when she was unable to find alternative suitable residential accommodation for her. As that proved to be a success, Gill, a trained Nurse, decided to take in more Residents. She had an extension built to her home and the rest, as they say is history. Hill Brow was purpose-designed and built in 1986. Alison, her daughter, also trained as a Nurse and holds a degree in Nursing from City University / St Barts Hospital, London with a Diploma in Elderly Care. She left the NHS as Ward Manager of an elderly care unit at The Royal Free Hospital when she assumed control of both homes following her mother's retirement.
