Loretto Nursery

At Loretto Nursery, we are proud to offer inspiring childcare and early education services for children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years. We also provide out of school care, including a holiday club, for children up to the age of 11. Our nursery is located in Musselburgh, alongside the picturesque river Esk, making us an ideal choice for parents looking for a convenient and accessible childcare solution. Our proximity to Loretto Junior and Upper Schools, as well as the town centre, ensures that we are easily accessible for families in the local area.

Our playrooms are generously proportioned, carefully planned, and extensively resourced to create stimulating learning environments in which children can grow and learn with confidence. We believe that every child should have access to outdoor play areas, and we offer regular opportunities for outdoor learning experiences across all areas of the curriculum. Our sessions include morning, afternoon, full day, full week, term time, before school, after school, and holiday club, and we are open 50 weeks of the year, excluding Christmas and New Year.

In 2018, we were proud to be named one of the Top 20 Nurseries in Scotland by DayNurseries.co.uk, an award based solely on parent reviews. We are also proud to accept all childcare vouchers and offer 3-5 year old funding. Our spaces fill up quickly, so we recommend enquiring as early as possible to ensure you get the sessions and start date you require.
