Our Experience and Qualifications

Counselling Services has a strong educational and professional background. Our qualifications include a Diploma in Childcare and Education, A levels, a Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. We are a registered member of the BACP and regularly attend clinical supervision and personal and professional development training. Our extensive experience includes working with a wide range of clientele at MIND, maintaining a private practice for over 15 years, and collaborating with other related professionals such as CPNs, GPs, CAMHS, Crisis Team, Teacher's, Student Support, Local Support, and others.

We have a particular interest in working with highly sensitive people, Autism, Asperger's, pervasive development, sensitivity, worried children, school refusals, school difficulties, OCD, low self-esteem, bullying, anxiety, depression, stress management, positive parenting, inner child work, trauma, Bereavement/loss, Bipolar disorder, eating disorders, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, race issues, sexual/gender issues, post-natal depression, and couple counselling.
