Our Services
At Fairhaven Care Home, we offer a range of services designed to meet the varying needs of our residents. Our core services include:
Long Stay care, which provides 24-hour support and care to residents who require assistance with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, and taking medication. We also offer Short Stay care, which provides temporary support and care to individuals recovering from surgery, an accident, or requiring a break from home care. Additionally, we offer Daily Visits, which provide social stimulation and support to older adults who need a break from their daily routines.
Facilities and Amenities
Our home is spacious and well-maintained, with single rooms available on three floors, each with en-suite toilet facilities. We have three lounges where residents can socialise, watch films, and participate in activities such as live performances, church services, and painting sessions. We also have a dedicated hair salon and chiropody service available to our residents.

At Fairhaven Care Home, we take pride in our culinary services, offering a range of delicious and nutritious meals that cater to individual tastes and dietary requirements. Our menus are carefully designed to promote wellbeing and provide residents with a positive and enjoyable dining experience.

Work Environment and Staff Treatment
The reviews suggest that the workplace environment is unacceptable, with two reviewers, Kat Cole and Kelsie Marrs, sharing their negative experiences. According to Kat, the staff were rude, and she witnessed bullying towards the residents, including being sworn at, shouted at, and physically pushed. Kelsie echoed these sentiments, stating that their shadowshift experience was awful, and the management ignored staff concerns.

Kelsie Marrs also expressed frustration with the management, claiming that they do not pay their staff and ignore their emails, phone calls, and messages.
Care and Resident Treatment
On a more positive note, Mircea Ciobanu's 5-star review praised the care staff and the environment, stating that the residents were well-treated, and the staff and manager were friendly.
