The legacy of Peter Bowers Opticians can be traced back to the 1930s, when Peter's grandfather initiated his own watchmaking, optical, and jewellery shop in Silverdale near Newcastle-under-Lyme. Both Peter's parents became certified ophthalmic opticians, operating independent optical practices in Stone and Newcastle-under-Lyme at different times, thus, laying the groundwork for Peter to establish his own practice. For over 30 years, Peter Bowers Optometrist has been located on Stone High Street, reinforcing a strong family tradition of offering optical services in Staffordshire.
