Our Mission and Values

We pride ourselves on our mission of Quality of Life for all our residents. Our dedicated team of carers is well known throughout Sussex for their kindness. Our long-term caring staff offer independence, choice, privacy, dignity, and respect. This gives our residents a great feeling of security, and we're one big family community that they are proud to call their home.

Our Commitment to Care

We strive to provide the very best standards of care within our care home. Our commitment to training and development is paramount, and we are continually improving the quality of life care through our activities, our contact with families, and our food and beverage offering. With the South Downs and beaches on our doorstep, there are plenty of places to make new memories.

Our Team

Our care team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to our residents. Our staff are well trained, kind, and caring, and many have been with us for over ten years. They know each other well, so they know how to work together to deliver a resident-centred approach. We often hear stories of how they have gone the extra mile for our residents and their families. This has brought a great sense of community that we believe is an essential part of our 'home from home'.

Our Services

Care: We all get to the stage when life catches up with us. St Vincent's offers CQC 'Good' respite care, residential care, and end-of-life care, delivered by our long-standing, dedicated team of carers who are kind, caring, and well trained.

Accommodation: Our friendly, welcoming home is designed to provide a comfortable and safe environment for our residents. Our recent refurbishments have ensured that our home is modern, clean, and well-maintained.

Wellbeing: We passionately believe that the body, mind, and spirit are very closely linked. Keeping active, even for those who are perhaps less mobile than they once were, is crucial, so our Activity Coordinator plans stimulating activities for all.

Nutrition: Our Chef prepares and cooks all meals from locally sourced produce in our own kitchens. This means we are able to cater for different dietary requirements and that all meals are fresh, balanced, and highly nutritious.

The Team: Our dedicated team is led by our Manager, Joanne Freeman, who has been with us since she was 16. Her ethos of 'kindness first' is at the heart of everything we do. Our Deputy Manager, Emma, and Senior Carer, Nathalie, are also long-standing members of our team, known for their kindness and dedication.

Recruitment and Retention: Recruitment and retention play vital roles in ensuring the success and excellence of a care home. With a strong focus on attracting and retaining skilled and compassionate individuals, a care home can create a nurturing environment that enhances the wellbeing of residents.

Testimonials: It is our privilege to look after your loved ones in their remaining years. And we really enjoy the amazing feedback we receive from residents themselves, as well as their families and friends.
