Led by the proprietor, Linda Gratton, and registered manager, Joanna French, we work in tandem to ensure each resident's physical and emotional well-being. Our ten-strong staff, including two skilled cooks, are committed to creating a warm and supportive home environment. We believe in fostering individual growth and promoting independence.
Comfortable and Welcoming Atmosphere
Cumberland House boasts ten single rooms and four large rooms, all equipped with ensuite facilities. Each room is tastefully decorated and offers a private space for residents to relax and peacefully enjoy their surroundings. Shared facilities include a comfortable TV lounge, dining room, garden room, and a serene garden. We also have dedicated smoking and outdoor relaxation areas.
Tailored Support & Activities
We understand the importance of a holistic approach to care. In addition to personal assistance with daily living activities, we offer a variety of services to enhance residents' physical and emotional well-being. These include:
- Visiting services: Chiropody, opthalmology, and hairdressing are offered on a regular basis.
- In-house therapies: Aromatherapy and footcare are provided at no extra cost.
