At Puddleducks Day Nursery, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children from birth to 5 years old, with additional holiday care for children up to 8 years old. Our nursery is set in a large Victorian-style converted house in a residential area, just minutes from the seafront and town centre in Worthing. We are situated in close proximity to parks and schools, with bus and train routes nearby, making us easily accessible by car or public transport.

Our experienced and dedicated staff, led by Nursery Manager Samantha Spencer and Deputy Manager Lauren Bird, are committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters healthy development, creativity, and a love for learning. We believe that every child is unique and deserving of individual attention and care. Our staff are trained to provide a Beach School experience for your child on outings, as well as opportunities to visit the local library and children and family centre.
Daily Activities
Our daily activities are designed to spark each child's own intrinsic motivations to explore, create, and be curious about the world around them. A balance of free play and adult-initiated planned activities provide an opportunity for holistic development for young children, giving them good foundations for the rest of their lives. Our children will get to have first-hand experiences, work together as a team, have their own ideas, opinions, and most importantly, to have a go and try something new.
Diddi Dance and More
We explore a range of dance through Diddi Dance sessions, capture life cycles by hatching our very own duckling's, and many more exciting opportunities throughout a child's time with us. Our daily activities will ignite a passion for learning and encourage children to ask questions, explore, and discover new things.
Healthy Eating
We understand the importance of providing children with well-balanced, nutritious, and healthy meals that will fuel their day. We support parents in providing healthy environments, healthy food, and in teaching their child the beginning steps needed to be environmentally friendly. Please speak with Management regarding any dietary requirements, allergies, or parental preferences - we will always be more than willing to make amendments to suit your child's needs.
Parents as Partners
We value the importance of partnership between parents and the nursery. We believe that by working together, we can provide the best possible start in life for your child. We encourage parents to be involved in their child's daily activities and to participate in events and activities throughout the year.
