At Tall Trees Yoga & Pilates, we're a community of like-minded individuals who have come together to bring yoga, Pilates, and spiritual wellness to everyone. Our founder, Mike Hammond, had a dream to create a space where people could come together to access the best spiritual wellness for the mind and body. This concept came to fruition in 2013, when Mike decided to leave his 25-year role with the government to pursue his passion.

Our Story

The name "Tall Trees" was inspired by Mike's four beloved Jack Russells, who would pass a beautiful and tranquil house on their daily walks. Each time they passed, they showed an interest in the house, and Mike adopted the house's name. Today, the studio has grown through like-minded individuals spreading the Tall Trees message through word of mouth, and we can boast a community of a few thousand! We welcome you to join us.

Our Services

We offer a variety of classes and services designed to cater to different needs and preferences. Our classes include dynamic classes, hatha classes, meditative classes, and Pilates/yoga fusion classes. Our dynamic classes involve using flowing sun salutations to transition into postures, matching your breath to your movements. Our hatha classes are a static yoga practice where each posture is designed to get your body ready for the next posture. Our meditative classes are designed to reduce stress, anxiety, and improve sleep. Our Pilates/yoga fusion classes offer a more gym-like experience, mixing yoga with strength building.

We strive to create a space where people can feel safe and at home, where they can connect with like-minded individuals, and where they can grow and learn together. Our Studio

Our studio is located in the beautiful park land setting of St Catherine's House, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere for our students. We offer a range of treatments, including massages, facials, and other wellness therapies, designed to promote relaxation and rejuvenation. We also have a boutique where you can find yoga and Pilates accessories, as well as wellness products.
