We love cats so much. We have made them our business!
Welcome to our yoga studio, nestled in the heart of Angmering village. Our dedicated team, led by Cindy Robins, is committed to bringing the transformative power of yoga to our community. With a combined experience of over 24 years in Sivananda and Scaravelli practices, we strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment where you can grow stronger, lighter, and more at peace.
Cindy, our founder, began her yoga journey many years ago and has been teaching since 2002. She specialises in teaching small groups, providing personalised help and adjustments as needed. Cindy's approach emphasises quality of movement over achievement of postures, reducing tension and stress, improving posture and muscle tone, and fostering a sense of well-being and peace of mind.
Our Practice
Our practice is deeply rooted in the Sivananda and Scaravelli traditions, which focus on the vital core, breath, spine, and the rest of the body. We believe in growing strength from the inside out, cultivating lightness and freedom in movement. Our classes are a journey of presence, patience, and compassion, allowing us to truly listen to and feel our bodies as we explore each posture.
In 2002, Cindy completed her teacher training and established her summer house studio, which has since grown into a lush, light-filled space for up to 9 students. In good weather, we take our practice outdoors onto the deck, immersing ourselves in the healing power of nature.
In recent years, Cindy has deepened her practice under the guidance of Scaravelli yoga teacher Marc Acquaviva. His teachings emphasise the importance of creating unconflicted relationships between different parts of ourselves, an approach that has greatly influenced Cindy's practice and teaching style.
Our Classes
We offer a variety of classes for all levels, from drop-in sessions to block bookings. Our classes are designed to be small and intimate, allowing for personalised attention and adjustments. We believe that yoga is a journey of self-discovery and growth, and we are committed to supporting you every step of the way.
Join us in our tranquil studio and experience the transformative power of yoga for yourself. We look forward to welcoming you to our yoga community.
